Buddy Poppy Drives
One of the greatest events we participate in is Buddy Poppy.
On several occasions, we go out, as members of the VFW and Auxiliary,
to distribute Buddy Poppies.
We contact several businesses throughout the town and they allow us to
come to distribute the Buddy Poppies. We have one member of our local
VFW post who is always willing to come out and do this. His name is
Bernie Howen. Bernie is no longer with us, but this is just one way he helped to
support our post.
Many of us really do not know or understand Buddy Poppy. To all members
of the VFW and Auxiliary, we understand this very well.
