Thank You Letters
To Veterans
From School Children

Our post held an Veterans Day ceremony on November 11, 2009. There was presented to the comrades letters from many children from different schools thoughout the Tucson area schools.

We read many of these "Thanks To Veterans" and decided to post some on our website. We could not put up all the letters, it would take many hours to do this. We reviewed all the letters and decided on the following "Thanks To Veterans" letters.

Since the Buddy Poppy is symbolic of Veterans Day, it is appropiate that the buddy poppy is displayed at the top of this webpage. We have a webpage dedicated to the history of Buddy Poppies.

We would like to thank Pat Tucker & Bill Kipling from Tanque Verde School District for the many letters they brought to us to read during our Veterans Day ceremony, but time was devoted to a Korean Veteran. We have a special webpage for this.

We do apologized to the children that we did not read some of their letters. So here are the letters posted on our website.
